PASTOR MONTE STEPHENS
Reverend Monte Stephens is a native of Woodville, Georgia and has been a part of the north Georgia community over the past 51 years. He currently resides in Woodville. He is the proud parent of two wonderful young men, Mr. Camden M. and Mr. Daniel L. Stephens of Columbus, Ohio.
Reverend Stephens received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Animal Science from Alabama A&M University in Huntsville, AL. Professionally, Reverend Stephens is employed by the University of Georgia as County Extension Faculty for the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. Reverend Stephens has been in the educational field for the past 25 years. He is deeply rooted in the community for the advancement of Agriculture & Natural Resources, and 4-H Youth Development where he currently serves as the County Extension Coordinator in Greene County. He has served in the same capacities across the state in Haralson, Lincoln and Oconee counties. Reverend Stephens works very closely with local stakeholders and community leaders to address needs and generate positive impact in local communities in the area of Cooperative Extension. As a Public Service Associate for the University of Georgia he loves seeing things grow and develop from the ground up in plants, animals, adults and youth. He believes in the 4-H Motto of Making the Best Better.
